Tura oyunu Kırşehir bölgesinde şöyle oynanıyor:

“Davul, zurna oyuna özgü havayı çalar, ortaya iki delikanlı çıkar. Bu delikanlıların ikisinin elinde de tura (ipten yapılmış örme) vardır. Önce birinci delikanlı, turanın bir ucu bir elinde, öteki ucu diğer elinde olmak üzere, ellerini havaya kaldırarak başı üzerinde tutar, davul, zurna eşliğinde önceden belirlenen çizgiye kadar dans ederek yürümeye başlar. Bu yürüyüşlerde delikanlı geriye doğru kaykılarak ceketin ve gömleğin havalanmasını sağlar, bu sayede de kendisine vurulan turanın hızını yavaşlatmış olur.
